The life and times of a weekend

Hey everyone!

Life is good.

Admittedly it is hailing out side right now - but still - I'm in good spirits. Not exactly sure why that is - I can't put my finger on it - but still - I'm happy!

My weekend was a(nother) non event. Didn't really get upto much. The gf came down and stayed the weekend (and is staying the week) - and we moved loads of her stuff down to the new house.

She moves in for good on the 4th March - but most of her stuff is cluttering my spaces up already. We are a little bit of a role reversal to normal couples. I'm the almost anally tidy one. She is the very messy one!! Still - opposites attract.

I managed to grab an hour on the decks over the weekend too. I'd forgotten how absolutely rubbish I am at mixing. Totally. I've never been very good - but now I'm AWFUL. It doesn't help that the gf has LOTS of mates that DJ either for a living or are very very very good. I feel kinda inadequate about that. But then anyone that reads this often will know I feel kinda inadequate about 99% of my life! Where's that life coach when you need him/her!

On to another subject - I had the misfortune of re-reading my posts a couple of days ago. I'm not surprised no one reads these - nothing much happens in my life does it!!! Hahaha! That might change in the future - now I have a 'battle' plan in my head about what I want to achieve this year - I have goals and aims.

Just wish I was not so down on myself all the time. Its a VERY hard habit to get out of though...
